Kirsten Company LLC is a family enterprise that produces, contracts, harvests, and ships dry edible beans throughout the world. With combined experience of over 80 years the Kirsten family has been engaged in dry edible bean industry for some time. Current California operations include warehousing, production, harvesting and marketing. We currently farm approximately 750 acres in Courtland California where we produce garbanzos, blackeyes, mayacoba's, large and baby lima beans. Kirsten Company is cooperating with the University of California and Texas A&M University as they pursue new and improved seed varieties for California growers. The Company has experienced robust growth resulting in broad origination throughout the principal growing regions. Increasing farming operations and the establishment of a warehouse in Lodi has yielded new opportunities and expanded our services to growers and customers.
